This song is for the people who still choose to live in darkness even after hearing songs like "Life is Hard". I understand that even if you give people the light, they will still choose the dark side because it is safer and more comfortable to be in. The revelation I've had in this song is that some people see you shining your light and would prefer you to be with them in the darkness. "While you stay low Imma stay high, always wanna take my drive, But you can't block my shine I won't stop till the world's mine". It is not up to me to get you out of the darkness, but I will be the light to shine upon you if you don't want to. The sun shines everyday even though people complain how hot it is. You think the sun actually cares how you feel? No, because it is giving life to those open to receive the same power it gives to nature. Throughout the whole song the meaning is the same there are no specific parts that are different this is all about letting go of your feelings and channeling that light within you. If you would like to be the one blocking the shine, I will gladly be the one to shine the light upon you. Times have changed and it's gotten so difficult to the point where there is no such thing as a comfortable life. The universe pushes us all to evolve and grow into something even if we don't want to be that thing. Even if we prefer where we are, the universe will send signals to you that only you can understand. But because we look at everything on the surface level, we have a tendency to overlook the source or God's message that it wishes to convey. Let this revelation inspire people to get back on their purpose and back on the path of unleashing the light within you! Let this song be motivation for you to keep shining your light even if other people around you prefer you to be dim. I do say at one point in the song I have to be balance. I've been fighting between two different personalities and now I'm starting to see the real revelation. Even if I am in the background, even if I am not seen, heard or understood, my purpose is always fulfilled no matter what I try. The purpose I serve is beyond my own self desire or interests. It is simply the source pushing through every cloud every heart break and every set back like the sun. I won't stop until the world is in the palm of my hand. Why settle for less when you understand deep within you is a light that needs to be shining for the world to see? A lot of people may say or give biblical references as to why achieving the world will essentially make you lose it, but I disagree. Gaining the world would give more power to me personally because I already have a world inside of me, and so do you. We all have dreams that we wish to achieve, and we all have that dark side of us that does not allow us to shine that light and stop the drive. Don't let the world outside you block the world that is within you, shine that light until the world is yours for the taking!
