First Verse
The first verse is a promise not only to you but to me! It really sets the tone for the whole song and it's the best way to promote me being on top of things. I also mention that I may be a hero in some eyes, but I know I am a villain in others. At this point I am embracing my karma and living life not trying to please others. I even pay homage to my folks and let them know I'm doing everything I can to stay legal and not be in any type of trouble mainly because I feel me personally, I am the one to lead the pack to the land of rich and wealth! My life holds value, and I wish to share this value with the whole world!
Hook
For the sake of the English listeners that do not know Spanish, I shall translate for you the hook. "Tengo un Negocio" and "Yo soy un Negocio" means I have a business, and I am a business. My business is my priority over any female which is why I say, " I cannot be no Romeo". Romeo is a character from a tragedy called "Romeo and Juliet". He was willing to die for the one that he loved because of how he felt towards her. I am basically saying in the hook that I would rather be focused on my goals than be willing to give my life up to any female that inspires the love in my heart.
Second Verse
In the second verse I tell the listener how many changes in my life have been ever since I followed the path of my business. Chasing purpose instead of pleasure all the time. Even when the world wishes to attack, I always make sure to stay focused on the mission. I actually admit to being a workaholic for the first time on this song. I'm not sure what it is man there is a deeper drive in me now that I've experienced the dark side of enlightenment. I understand the ones who seek to destroy but I also know they can be on our side if used properly. I then begin to add how this will benefit me since everybody is stuck in their own loop of overstimulation. It's like the more you work and give out, the more the consumers crave "Gotta feed the consumers they always shopping". With this idea in mind I then say how being Romeo and giving my life and all of my love to a female would be the same as turning my back on the source or God and selling my true sense of self for the pride. As I said before, any maybes are cut out of my life now so when I say maybe I really mean no lol I'll let you listen to the song to see what I mean by that
Bridge
This part again is rehabilitating the listener to quinch their thirst for pleasure. Letting go of that thirst for love or anything in particular can result in you being the best version of yourself as well as being the best at your own business.
In conclusion
All in all, this song is to help you stay focused on your mission and purpose in life. Let this be another song that invites the selfish part of you that you love to give to females and instead be a means of redirection from them. I know it's hard to always be business driven and goal oriented instead of pleasure driven, but wouldn't you want a partner that is willing to stand by your side and die for you? You will never receive the respect you deserve through being a dishonest or inauthentic version of you for somebody else, you'll only be another Romeo giving your life to someone that could care less about you!
