I put these two songs together only since one is an interlude leading to the other song but they both have the same intent as well as meaning, self-reliance. Being independent has taught me a lot about accountability and staying focused no matter what life throws at you. That's why it's important to love life because you never know what opportunity could spring out when looking out for your own self interests. In these songs I flex about how this is sort of a deal I made with myself, to care for me and trust my own intuition in most situations. I've said this plenty times how this album is the most selfish album I've ever made, and I actually love it! Songs like this allow one to tap into their self-worth. It allows the listener to tap into what they desire for themselves instead of trying to please their environment. I also mention that in order to keep your independence one must not cling on the attachments as well as the needs of their own body. One must form a certain type of discernment in order to carry on the path of being self-reliant. So, with that being said, it is very easy for me on my journey to know when somebody isn't being their authentic self around me and it is a lot easier to detect any manipulative traps set in place for me to give up that independence. In conclusion, this is the song you play whenever you feel as though the world is blocking off your independence and not allowing you to be self-reliant. Let this song be the voice for any introverted person that is afraid to stand up for themselves. Let these songs be of inspiration to be more self-reliant in life instead of codependent on others for something you can easily do yourself!
