First Verse

In the first verse I am telling the listener how I put myself through the toughest situations in life just to test my light. To test myself to see if I really desire the light that is within. No matter the tragedy, I understand not to look at life from a surface level perspective and sometimes it's important to allow love to flow instead of logic. Hence, I say "No logic with that put it to the side"

Chorus

In the hook I make sure to let you know the universe is in and that it's deep inside. As long as you unleash and hold on to the light within you, things tend to play out surprisingly in your favor. We let the negatives and the dark events in life dictate how we feel, but we really don't have to. We all can hold on to the light within us and unleash it for the whole world to see. This hook is a reminder of that. No matter your situation as long as you hold on to your light everything will be alright!

Second Verse

In the beginning I mention how the phone feeds off of our energy. We are simply a reflection of life so whatever we say think or even feel will pop up on our phone with ease. I mention this because this is the reason why holding on to your light is important. The minute your mind goes dark you could go down a rabbit hole of overstimulation until that dark feeling is gone. But whenever those feelings resurface, we are meant to confront them instead of chase them away. At the end of the verse I do realize not everybody is going to hold on to their light like I do, so I proceed to say, "I do all of this for the crops, for the ones on TikTok that never see through photoshop, Using the phone to runaway a lot". The truth is that using your light within you is way better than relying on the phone for your outside source of dopamine. You know what's best not only for your physical body or ego but your spirit too.

Conclusion

My main intention behind this song is to let you know that as long as you hold on to that positive side of you that loves yourself and life, even through its trials and tribulations, then everything will be alright and work out in your favor because life is only a reflection of the spirit that is within!
