First Verse

In the first verse of this song I pretty much give some insight to the hero that is within. As invigorated by life as I am, I still proceed to receive hatred from people because I choose to walk this path of being different. I wish to have women around that feed the soul, not ones who seek temporary pleasure through me. I use to live my life having any girl around chasing any girl that came my way, but now I see having the wealth is more important and, in the end, they are bound to chase you once you have it. For the sake of the people listening, I'll give an explanation to the last few bars. "So, in a sense, my innocence, an inner sense, it's too intense but I proceed to invent even when the lowest me is coming in". With these bars I am saying that in a way, me being innocent and not giving out what I use to give, allows me to see beyond the surface level of people's intentions and it is honestly too intense to bear. Yet I still proceed to invent and create and not let this inner sense stop me from chasing purpose.

Hook

Sophie Rain if you are reading this, I love you, but I don't care. Had to say that just in case she actually finds this and wishes to look deeper within *wink wink*. In the hook I am pretty much saying a lot of these OF girls are flattering yet don't provide the purpose I wish to achieve on my own. They used to fill me up with joy but now I see the importance of staying grounded in who you are on the inside. That's why I say, "Can't help but feel ashamed, cause they reflecting my brain". It is simply my mind trying to trick me into being comfortable for them as well as myself. However, that comfort does not bring any change and it only endures more short temporary pleasure. Because I am giving this up, I have nobody to call my own or claim as mine. So, I say that I got to represent my name and who I am as well as being grounded in me.

Second Verse

This verse is actually in a I'm not perfect, it was the first freestyle to this beat, and I really just went with it to be honest because you know, NO MAYBES! I will leave it up to you to find the freestyle, but this second verse was inspired by that. Having my peace and not necessarily needing anyone allows me to see how many people wish to have my peace of mind, it's actually quite interesting to see how much people cling to you when you simply do not care at all lol. That essentially was the picture I was painting with the cover, having so much peace and love within you that you are not fazed by the fake love you receive from the world outside. The more I let go of the hero that is within, the more I get treated like a pawn in someone else's game. Deep within there is a hero, a king that sets healthy boundaries with those around him for the sake of his growth as well as theirs.

In conclusion

My overall intent with this song is simple, I am letting the listener know they don't have to listen to those thoughts of lust and temptation but rather use them to create change on some doctor strange shit. Using those reflections of you to your advantage instead of your disadvantages. My grandmother always use to say, "Put that game down it ain't going nowhere" and now I see her point. She was trying to save me from overstimulating myself with fun as well as creating my own world or reality too much to the point where I disconnect from the real one. The world that is within you! Let this be the song for willpower, let this be a song for you to detox from hiding behind a screen for pleasure. Let this song be an anthem that helps unlock the hero within you and not outsource your dopamine with all of these TikTok influencers. Swish gang do not attack Sophie she did nothing wrong, it was simply the actions of my younger self that created these types of females to be in my life!
